Hope House of Milwaukee is proud to be the recipient of a $25,000 grant from The Hovde Foundation to help house women and children through our Chrysalis Program.

The Hovde Foundation’s generous gift of $25,000 to Hope House of Milwaukee is their first major gift awarded in the Milwaukee area. This generous donation to Hope House marks the first major grant to a Milwaukee area organization by The Hovde Foundation, founded and run by Madison natives Eric & Steve Hovde. Since 1998, The Hovde Foundation has supported neglected, abused and vulnerable people, with a recent focus on homeless children. “With this much needed support,” states Ken Schmidt, Executive Director of Hope House, “we can continue to offer high quality services to homeless children, women, and families in Milwaukee.”

Hope House would like to thank the Non Profit Management Fund for their donation of $2,150. The mission of the Nonprofit Management Fund is to improve the management effectiveness and efficiency of nonprofit organizations and to increase the resources for nonprofit management in the greater Milwaukee area. Their contribution helped turn our dreams of a new website into reality.
