Hope House depends on the generous efforts of many volunteers to make our programs run smoothly and effectively. If you are interested in sharing your talents with us, please read through these volunteer opportunities and complete the volunteer application.
Shining Stars
Do you love children and have a desire to help them succeed? We are always looking for after-school tutors for our youth, chaperones for field trips and enthusiastic people to assist with workshops. If you are patient, respectful, and enjoy working with children, this is a great volunteer opportunity for you!
Food Pantry
Our food pantry supplies neighborhood residents with much-needed emergency food bags each month. In order to meet this need, we need many volunteers to organize the food, package them into food bags, and distribute them to the neighbors. This is a great opportunity for either individuals or groups, although volunteers in the pantry should be able to lift at least 10 pounds of food.
Holiday Events
Hope House tries to make our residents feel at home- especially around holidays. Each holiday we are always looking for volunteers to prepare meals, donate gifts, and help in the sorting and distribution of gifts. Share your time with us to make the holidays special for all our guests!
